Why Pool Duel exists
Private sports pools often fall between a spreadsheet and a public daily-fantasy platform. Friends want salary-cap strategy, private lineups, live scoring, and ownership data, but they do not need a platform controlling their group or handling their money.
Pool Duel was built for that gap: the software runs the contest while a known commissioner runs the group. Commissioners invite participants, set expectations, and manage any prize arrangement separately. Pool Duel never collects or distributes pool funds.
