A private DFS contest manager is software for running a closed daily fantasy competition with people you invite. Pool Duel publishes its own salaries, enforces roster and lock rules, calculates fantasy points, and displays live standings. It does not collect entry fees, hold funds, or pay winners.

Event, Single Game, and Main Slate contests
PGA and NASCAR use six-athlete Event rosters. MLB, NFL, NHL, and NBA support six-athlete Single Game contests with a 1.5x DAWG, plus position-based Main Slates. Every new contest uses a $60,000 cap.
LIVE CONTEST
Versioned scoring and progressive lineup locks
Event and Single Game lineups reveal at start. Main Slate athletes lock and reveal game by game, so entrants may still edit players whose games have not begun. Ownership counts only locked picks.

New contests are available for PGA, MLB, NFL, NASCAR, NHL, and NBA when their upcoming event feeds pass readiness checks.
Can the commissioner see hidden lineups?
No. The commissioner cannot inspect another entrant's unlocked picks.
What is the DAWG position?
DAWG is Pool Duel's required 1.5x slot in Event and Single Game contests. It earns 1.5x fantasy points and costs 1.5x the athlete's base salary.
Does Pool Duel collect entry fees or pay prizes?
No. Pool Duel runs the contest software only. The commissioner handles any private prize arrangement separately and remains responsible for the rules that apply to the group.
